She is survived by her brother and sister- in- law Alan G. & Charlene Hawkins of Barboursville, WV.
Miss Cox was formerly employed in the Seal Beam Department for the Westinghouse Corporation and had worked earlier for the Eastern Airlines. She was a 1960 graduate of St. Peters High School.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Fairmont Catholic School, 416 Madison Street, Fairmont, WV 26554.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. The family will receive friends at the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 407, Jackson Street, Fairmont, WV 26554 on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Liturgy will be held in the church Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Joseph Konikattil, Celebrant and assisted by Deacon David Lester. The committal service will follow in the Woodsdale Cemetery in Grafton, WV.
