Jason was born May 13, 1979 in Newark, Ohio. He passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following a brief illness.
Jason was a veteran of the United States Army and faithfully served his country from 1998-2001. He received a Bachelor's degree in Business from Ohio Dominican University. Jason was employed with Discover Financial Services where he had been a supervisor. First and foremost, Jason was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed weightlifting and going to the gym, watching sports (especially the OSU Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds), kayaking, going to the beach and the lake, camping, and listening to music. He enjoyed Jeep rides and off-roading and was a member of the Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization (MOJO). He loved God and he and his wife attended the Heath Church of Christ. Jason loved his Golden Doodle, Snickerdoodle "Fancy", very much.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, April Dawn (Daugherty) Morgan, whom he married January 11, 2003; a son and a daughter, of whom he was so proud, Brandon Joseph Morgan of Newark, who is a firefighter with Refugee Canyon Fire District, and Allie Renea Morgan of Heath, who is attending Miami University in Oxford; his parents, Rick and Anita (Boyer) Morgan of Jacksontown; brothers, Ricky Morgan of Parkersburg, Iowa and Ryan Morgan of Jacksontown; nieces and nephews, Addison Schnegg, Claire, Kellan, Braxten and Hunter Morgan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Craig and Paula Daugherty of Heath; sister-in-law, Nicole (Brian) Schnegg of Newark; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Jason and his family.
