The funeral service honoring her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Harper-Swickard Funeral Home with Kenny Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Craig Cemetery, rural Charleston. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Cindy was born July 16, 1961 in Charleston, daughter of Jane Oakley. She married Tony Allen Price, June 25, 1983 at the North Union Baptist Church; he survives; Also surviving are their children, Alisha Evans of Ashmore and Cody Price and special friend Melonie Koshinski of Charleston. Grandchildren, Jeremiah Evans, Noah Evans, Karlie Evans, Jeremiah Enlow, and Donavon Clements. Sister Ellen Oakley of Charleston, and mother-in-law, Nellie Jo Price of Charleston, numerous cousins, whom she treated as siblings, and her special dog and best friend, Bo. She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, Frank and Lucille Oakley, and father-in-law, Tom Price.
Cindy was a member of the former North Union Separate Baptist Church. She loved caring for her kids and grandchildren. Cindy loved BLING jewelry and Angels. She would do anything for anyone and loved family reunions. Cindy treated everyone like family.
