Ronald Charles Perry, age 79, of Hot Springs, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Ronald was born on March 8, 1942, in Hot Springs, the son of Carl Charles Perry and Ruby Mary Brantley Perry. On August 7, 1970, he married Linda Taylor. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his son Christopher Charles Perry.

Ronald was Christian in his faith and attended Trinity Church. He was a constant witness and example of the love and forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ. He enjoyed dancing with Linda and they enjoyed competing and winning awards for their dancing, he also dearly loved fishing and photography, of and with his family. He was a selfless person who devoted himself completely to supporting and loving his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ronald grew up in Dallas, Texas, he was an only child. He started singing with his uncle's band at the age of five years old and became a gifted musician playing piano and guitar. He graduated from Crozier Technical in Dallas and then joined the United States Navy in July of 1960 and served more. He was stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Rosie Roads; Puerto Rico and Jacksonville, Florida. He served in Cuba during the Cuban Crisis as a member of the Navy ground defense forces, he was stationed on the USS Forrestal Aircraft carrier. After his service in the United States Navy, he became a contractor for aircraft manufacturing. He worked as a production planner, manufacturing engineer, industrial engineer and was a member of the National Estimating Society and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Perry of Hot Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, three grandchildren, and many good friends.
