He was a native and a resident of Morganza. He was retired from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and was a sugar cane and cattle farmer.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Armand (Cecil); two sons, Chad Eugene Oubre (Chasity) and Henry Ray Oubre (Angela K); sisters, Mazie Guerin and Shirley Cannon; six grandchildren, Dana Graham, Dawn Armand, Courtney Oubre, Cora Oubre, Rachael Oubre, and Ramie Oubre; and a great-granddaughter, Emma Graham.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Langlois Oubre; his parents, Morris Oubre Sr and Rachel Chustz Oubre; and his sisters and brothers.
