Cheryl Ann Leihuanani "Johnson" Lee was born on Nov 08, 1964 and passed away on May 14, 2018 at the age of 53. She is survived by her son, Kealoha; father, Samuel (Kalona) Johnson; brother Charles "Chuck" (Vilma) Snyder; sisters Alexandrina Arial and Charline Harris. Cheryl joins her dearly departed mother, Genevieve, and brother, Brian. She also leaves behind many aunties,uncles,nephews,greats and friends. She was born in Ewa Beach and lived a few years in Waianae and Waipahu.Cheryl graduated as valdictorian at Lanakila Baptist School in 1983. She worked for EK Fernandez Carnivals and later worked for Goodyear's regional office in Waipahu.She enjoyed 4wheel mud bogging at the Hawaii Raceway Park and made many friends in the automotive repair industry. She later had her son, Kealoha, and raised him as a single parent in her childhood home with her mother and hanai stepfather, the late Billy Stevens.Cheryl took a part-time employment as a cafeteria monitor a neighboring elementary schools adopting the "aunty persona". she was very passionate at guiding the "kids" in proper etiquette.Cheryl spent a lot of time with her many nieces and nephews. She was the "cool" aunty. She babysat, hang out, and nurtured them whenever possible. She was a very outgoing person. She made many friends, enjoyed a brewsky or two, and gave many times over more than she had.Cheryl was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Her celebration of life will be held at Oahu Mortuary located at 2162 Nuuanu Ave, Honolulu on June 9th from 10am-2pm.Service at 11:30am.
