Known for her kindness, generosity, and devotion to her Catholic faith and family, Hazel Mae Brent Brown was born on April 17, 1924 in Lakeland, La. She died peacefully in the Butterfly Wing at Baton Rouge General on September 16, 2021. She is survived by her two sons, Leo Brown, Jr. (Anna) and Robert Brown (Charlene); four daughters, Connie Mitchell (David), Glenda Brown, Myrtis Rogers, and Eloise Foster; along with a host grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Hall Davis and Sons Funeral Home in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 9:00, am with a visitation taking place at church starting at 8:00 am.
