Chris Hale Phillips left us to be with God and his Dad on September 24, 2021. He was born on his Mom's birthday, April 1, 1966 in Stockton, Ca. to Gerald and Betty Phillips. Later, the family moved to Lodi where Chris was raised with his siblings, Gerry and Tammy Lyn. Together, they would share many adventures with relatives in Bodega Bay while exploring the ocean. Visiting Big Tree's, along with numerous camping trips with close family friends.

At a young age Chris grew a fascination with electronics, adapting to their ever changing progress. He was always more than willing to share his knowledge with anyone in need. In his young adulthood, he enjoyed traveling within the country and had lived in various parts of California. But just like most, ended up "Stuck In Lodi Again".

Always charismatic with a contagious giggle, Chris warmed many hearts. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his friends and family. Unintentionally upsetting someone, meant an immediate amends. Although he didn't have children of his own, he was "Uncle Chris" to many and adored them all. His gentle heart also made him a compassionate lover of all animals. Chris was clever, creative and witty and will be missed by everyone who loved him.

Chris is survived by his Mother, Betty; Siblings, Gerry and Tammy Lyn; Nephew, Gerry Jr. and Great Niece, Layla. Preceded in death by his Father, Gerald.

Visitation will be held Oct. 4 from 9-2 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home 123 N. School St. Followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. at Lodi Memorial Cemetery 5750 E. Pine St. Reception will be a Barbeque Potluck at Lodi Lake.
Song's Played At His Service Were:

When I Get Where I'm Going ~ By Brad Paisley (Featuring Dolly Parton)

When I get where I'm going
On the far side of the sky
The first thing that I'm gonna do
Is spread my wings and fly
I'm gonna land beside a lion
And run my fingers through his mane
Or I might find out what it's like
To ride a drop of rain
Yeah, when I get where I'm going
There'll be only happy tears
I will shed the sins and struggles
I have carried all these years
And I'll leave my heart wide open
I will love and have no fear
Yeah, when I get where I'm going
Don't cry for me down here
I'm gonna walk with my grandaddy
And he'll match me step for step
And I'll tell him how I missed him
Every minute since he left
And then I'll hug his neck
Yeah, when I get where I'm going
There'll be only happy tears
I will shed the sins and struggles
I have carried all these years
And I'll leave my heart wide open
I will love and have no fear
Yeah, when I get where I'm going
Don't cry for me down here
So much pain and so much darkness
In this world we stumble through
All these questions I can't answer
So much work to do
But when I get where I'm going
And I see my Maker's face
I'll stand forever in the light
Of His amazing grace
Yeah when I get where I'm going
Oh when I get where I'm going
There'll be only happy tears
Hallelujah
I will love and have no fear
When I get where I'm going
Yeah, when I get where I'm going

Ave Maria ~ By Celine Dion (One Of Chris' Favorite's, Which He Said Was The Prettiest Song He Had Ever Heard)

Ave Maria
Gratia plena
Maria, gratia plena
Maria, gratia plena
Ave, ave dominus
Dominus tecum
Bendicta tu in mulieribus
Et benedictus
Et benedictus fructus ventris
Ventris tui, Iesus
Ave Maria
Ave Maria
Maiden mild
I listen to a maidens prayer
For thou canst hear amid the wild
'Tis thou, 'tis thou canst save me amid despair
We slumber safely 'til the morrow
Though e'en by men outcast reviled
Oh maiden
See a maiden sorrow
Oh mother hear a suppliant child
Ave Maria
