Gene owned and operated his own sand and gravel transportation company for many years in the Denver metro area. He was active in his church, serving as an Elder and Teacher.
Gene is survived by his beloved wife, Iva M. Willis; dear daughters, Jennifer (Paul) Warrington, of Dallas, Texas and Heather (Hugh) Fitzpatrick, of Elizabeth, Colorado; loving grandchildren, Cole Warrington, Luke Warrington, Beau Warrington, Emma Warrington, Colin Fitzpatrick and Abigail Fitzpatrick; his only brother, Clyde Willis and his two sisters, Ruth Ann Flower and Janet Flower.
