Obituary of Philip C WRIGHT
Philip Cooper Wright, "Doc", age 33 of Birmingham, left us unexpectedly on Saturday August 21, 2021. He will be sorrowfully missed by his vast circle of family and friends. Philip was the first-born of Frederick Cooper Wright, who predeceased him, and Roberta Belisle Wright. He is survived by his sisters, Mandy and Katie, and his grandfather, Philip Belisle as well as his aunts and uncles and cousins.

Philip was loved by everyone for his sarcasm that was always witty and never cruel. He never met a stranger and always went out of his way to help anyone in need. He treasured all his customers at the cigar shop and counted them more as friends and family than customers.

Philip loved jazz music, soccer, critiquing cigars, family game nights and writing. Many people will treasure the memory of Philip's deep voice telling jokes and hearing his laughter. We will miss him.

We will remember Philip at a celebration of his life at Ridout's Trussville Chapel at 1PM on Friday, August 27, 2021 with service to follow at 2PM.

Burial will take place at Myrtle Hill Cemetery Rome, GA, at 1PM Saturday, August 28, 2021.
