Funeral Services at Anderson Funeral Homes. Interment in Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley, Iowa.

Ruth was born June 22, 1930, to Hilko and Nora Rindles in Hartley, Iowa. She joined her brother Hilbert and sister Frances. She attended Hartley Public School.

Ruth married Robert Leonard Bell who died on June 24, 1973.

She met Erwin Rebik and they were married on February 24, 1974, in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Prior to their marriage Ruth worked at National Travelers Life Insurance Company (the big red umbrella in downtown Des Moines). After moving from the farm to a home in Marshalltown, Ruth worked for the Anson School Cafeteria and as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at the Marshall County Home and Villa Del Sol nursing home in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Ruth enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, playing the slot machines at local casinos, traveling with her friend Rose Menter, and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends at the Moose Lodge.

Ruth is survived by her stepchildren Catherine (David) Bush, Daniel Rebik, Christine (James) Crandell, Charlene Smith, Cynthia (Mark) Christensen; stepdaughter-in-law Sharon Rebik; and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Hilbert; sister Frances Slinger; husbands, Robert Bell and Erwin Rebik; stepson David Rebik; and stepson-in-law John Smith.
