Connie lived in Sterling, Colorado until 1951 when the family moved to Englewood, Colorado. They lived in various rental houses until buying a home on West Center Ave., Westwood (Denver), Colorado in June 1952. She attended Belmont Elementary; Knapp Elementary; Kepner Jr High; and Abraham Lincoln High Schools in Denver.
She married Billy Ray Bollinger on March 20, 1965, in Berthoud, Larimer County, Colorado. Together, they had a son, David Ray Bollinger in 1967. They divorced on October 5, 1970. Her second marriage was to John Wesley (Nier) White on August 31, 1988, in Brighton, Adams County, Colorado. She and John were married 23 years, until John's death in 2011.
She had many hobbies during her life. As a small girl learned how to make crepe paper flowers; enjoyed embroidery work and sewing. Planted various gardens and flower beds; loved to bake and cook; canned pickles, jams, and vegetables; learned how to decorate cakes; taught herself how to knit and hook rugs.
Connie is survived by her son, David Bollinger (wife: Laurel) of Huntsville, Alabama; half-brother, Ronald E Roberts of Denver, Colorado; brother, Howard Martin (wife: Cherrie) of Tucson, AZ; two grandchildren, Maren Bollinger, and Matthew Bollinger; and many close friends in Waurika, OK.
