Lucy was born on April 18, 1940 to Eugenio and Solidad "Chole" Galindo in Ozona, Texas.

Lucy went to be with the lord on September 23, 2021.

Lucy is survived by her children Ray Vargas, Noe Guerra and wife Clara, Augustine Guerra and wife Tammie, Mary Frances Lombrana and husband Sergio Sánchez, Martha Williams, sister Rosie Ochoa and husband Oscar, sister Cruz "Coy" Garcia, brother Alonzo Galindo and wife Mary and sister Veva Vargas. Lucy is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugenio and Solidad "Chole" Galindo, son Pete Guerra, grandson Amus Guerra, brother Rosalio "Chalo" Galindo, sister Nestora Villarreal and brother Andrew Galindo.

Lucy was the "mom" of the neighborhood, she fed everyone and took everyone in, she helped so many when she could. Lucy was the glue of the family. She was loved by so many.

Viewing was at Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Funeral was on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 10am, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ozona, Texas.
