Mr. Ronald Zane Brooks, age 74, of Phenix City, Alabama died Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
Ronnie Brooks was retired from Southern Phenix Textiles where he was personnel manager. He was also active with Wheelchair Mobility a Christian organization. He was also a veteran of the US Navy and a graduate of Opp High School.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Rhonda Fore Brooks; daughter & son-in-law, Sandie Brooks Manscill & James, Jr.; son & daughter-in-law, Scotty Zane Brooks & Tammy; brothers, Donnie Brooks & wife, Tammy, and Tommy Brooks; grandchildren, Justin Zane Brooks & wife, Anna, Erika Hope Pincoski, Hannah Brooks and Danielle Faith Manscill; and great-grandson, Isaac Zane Brooks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margarie Curby Brooks and R. Z. Brooks.

Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Zane Brooks will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with military graveside honors following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Gary Miller and Shawn Bentley will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Smith, James Manscill, Donnie Brooks, Robert Cook, Joshua Pincoski and Don Verner with Wendell Eiland, Preston Boutwell, Sr. and John Henderson serving as honorary pallbearers.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to your local Gideons Association (www.gideons.org)

The family requests that everyone honor the social distance guidelines set forth by Alabama Public Health.
