She was a lifelong resident of Pointe Coupee Parish and attended Morganza High School. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed working in her yard, and loved listening and dancing to swamp pop music. Her zest for life, strong faith, and love for her family and friends were reflected in everything she did.
She is survived by her husband of forty years, Richard Paul Roy; children, Jodi Smith Frey (husband Marty), Paul Genin Roy (wife Kaci), and Colter Neal Roy (wife Kate); a brother, George "Doodle" Neal; eight grandchildren, Caleb (Jordan), Cade (Kelsi), Ryland Frey, Rebecca Frey, Alexis Roy, Foster Roy, Jude Roy, and Emma Roy; and a great-grandson, Bennett Frey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Foster and Bertha Neal; and her first husband, Carey Webster "Webby" Smith.
