Carolyn Jane "Janie" Tull was born April 14, 1945 to Lloyd and Velda Tull in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She departed this life September 16, 2021 at the age of 76.

Janie attended school at Capitol High School in Oklahoma City. After finishing school, she obtained her LPN license and worked at the Rainbow Nursing Home, Valley Hope, and Mannford Nursing Home for many years. On February 22, 1977 Janie was united in marriage to Terry Duren.

They enjoyed traveling together. Janie also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, clog dancing, watching movies, and traveling wherever Kadyn was playing baseball. She was faithful to watch the weather and make calls to her children making sure they had seen the weather report.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Duren; one son, Larry Shockley; daughter, Diana Jackson and husband Randy; sister, Mary Doll; step children, Tawny Withiam, Jr. Duren, Lisa Stevens and husband Shannon; grandchildren, Kaylee Sevenstar and husband Reilly, Chevy Carter and wife Becky, Caleb Carter, Audra Carter, Joey Carter, Romy Withiam, Benjamin McBride, Jackson McBride, Ariel Stevens and Tiffany Stevens; great grandchildren, Paige Jackson, Kadyn Jackson, Sutton Sevenstar, Reiss Sevenstar, Cayden Jackson, Havyn Carter, Logan Carter, Marley Salas, Willie Salas, Rori Salas, Luke Carter, Lyla Carter, Ashlynn Stevens, Blaine Hubbard, Tripp Grigg. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Glenn Tull, one son, Michael Shockley and one grandson, Brent Jackson.
