Charles Riley Horton III, age 93, of Lubbock, Texas passed away September 23, 2021. He was born in 1928 in Abilene, Texas on July 7, 1928 to Charles R. Horton II and Wada Horton. He graduated from Abilene High School, then Texas Tech University in 1948. He was married to Wanda Fay Muston, until she passed in 2018. He is survived by four children, Charles R. Horton IV, Kathleen Tims, Cynthia Hoople and Susan Calvert. He Is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. There will be a private service for the family at Peaceful Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made on his behalf to Sunset International Bible Institute at 3723 34th St. Lubbock, TX 79410.
