Christopher, age 33, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was a resident of Albany, LA. Christopher was an extremely hard worker and took great pride in providing for his family.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army with a tour in Iraq.
Christopher was a true family man and absolutely adored his five children. He enjoyed taking his family on hiking trips; there isn't a trail in the area they haven't hiked. Christopher never wasted a moment with his family, he always made sure to spend quality time with each of the ones he loved. He was a dedicated husband and father, loving son and brother, and one of the greatest men you'd ever meet. He will be deeply missed.
Christopher is survived by his wife of 11 years, Heather Holmes; children, Dawson Nugent, Tayler Nugent, Edyn Martin, Blythe Holmes, Pryce Holmes; second mom, Dana Holmes; sisters, Donna Seymour (Kenneth), Alli Scott; in-laws, Mary Howell, Denny Martin; brothers-in-law, Jerry Martin, Bradley McDonald; sisters-in-law, Ashley Martin, Tina Martin; nephews, Zachariah Scott, Marcus McDonald, Conner McDonald, Gage Scott, Chris Powell, J.T. Stevens; and niece, Zoe Martin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rena and Wayne Holmes; and grandfather, Jack Still.

Hammond, LA 70401, on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m
Interment will follow in Martin Family Cemetery.
