He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 52 years, Beverly, whom he married on October 21, 1966; and their son, Michael Byron Fitzgerald Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Robert) Mull; son, Kevin (Monica) Fitzgerald; seven grandchildren, Austin (Kayla) Fitzgerald, Chelsea (Trent) Landers, Morgan Mull, Makaila Mull, Jacob Fitzgerald, Wyatt Fitzgerald, and Miken Mull; and two great-grandchildren, Lucus Fitzgerald and Tucker Landers.
