Fred William Jones "Neal", 80, of New Palestine, passed away on September 5, 2021. He was born on July 1, 1941 in Danville, IL to the late Fred Hutts Jones and Lucy Jane (Neild) Jones.

Bill graduated from Plainfield High School in 1959 and then furthered his education at House of James Beauty College and Robert Fiance Academy in New York. "Neal" had a well known hair styling career in Indianapolis for nearly 60 years and was a Design Instructor both in Jeffersonville and Indianapolis. He worked at Blocks, LS Ayres, and Jacobson's.

Bill was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching the Colts, and time spent with family.

Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara Ellen Jones; daughter, Jennifer I Norton; sons, Jason Garth Jones and Jordan Christopher Jones; grandchildren, Grant Christopher Jones and Caroline Marie Jones; and sister, Margaret (Jerry) Bayse. He was preceded in death by sisters, Martha Jones and Marcia "Susie" Jones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4pm until the time of service at 5pm at The Caring Place, 2901 N. Post Road, Indianapolis, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.

Following the service, Bill will be laid to rest at Zionsville Cemetery, 10555 Zionsville Road Zionsville, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to The Caring Place World Missions.
