Julia Roach, 91, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at her home in Harrisonville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Graveside service will follow at 2:15 pm at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville.

Julia was born October 1, 1929 in Warsaw, Missouri, the daughter of George and Hazel Wilson. Julia met the love of her life, Norman Roach, and they were married on August 23, 1963. They enjoyed 57 years together before his passing in 2020. Julia moved to Harrisonville in 1971 and spent her career between taking care of her children and working in restaurants as a cook. She was a member of the Garden City New Covenant Fellowship Church. She enjoyed giving to others, including going to Harvester's. Her family will remember her joy of cooking, including staples like her relish and noodles, and that she could often be found at her grandkids sporting events over the years. She leaves a legacy of love and laughter behind to all those who knew her.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by her son, Gerald (Danelle) Roach; her daughter, Glenda (Mark) Field; and her four grandchildren: Kaylie Roach, Kendra Roach, Kellon Roach, and Danielle Field.
