Donald F. Marshall, 80, Simpsonville, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at University of Louisville Hospital following an illness. A native of Shelbyville, he was the son of the late Carrie and Thomas Marshall, Sr. He was a graduate of Lincoln Institute, Class of 1959. He ran Marshall's Body Shop for numerous years, doing automotive body repair work for countless people. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and mowing and was a U. of L. fan. He was a member of a poker club, a group of friends who met regularly. He was a member of Montclair Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, two children, André Marshall, Sr. and Sherry Yvette Marshall Navarro; two sisters, Clara Mae O'Bannon and Loreda Carter; one brother, Daniel Bruce Marshall and one grandson, Derrick Arnaz Marshall, preceded him in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra Raudales (Fernando) and Donna Coke (Glen), both of Louisville; one brother, Thomas E. Marshall, Jr. (Sylvia) of Shelbyville; five grandchildren, Andre Marshall, Jr. (Kori Jackson) of Crestwood, Chance Alan Marshall, Gabriel Frederick Marshall, Shon Brown (Destiny) and Terry Andras Marshall (Chasity), all of Louisville; four great-grandchildren, Ava Filiatreau and Kai Alexander Marshall, both of Crestwood and DeKaria Brown and Denali Brown, both of Louisville; his former spouse and the mother of his children, Martha Beach Marshall of Louisville and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
