He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Barbara (nee Hannig). He is also survived by his children and step-children, Cheryl Combs, Teresa Rose, Denise (Jay) Elliott, Bil (Lynn) Clary, Nicole (Ashley Ervin) Clary, Brad (Bethany) Clary, and Kerry (Amber) Clary, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and siblings, Donald (Pegi), and Lonnie (Juanita) Rose.
Ronald served his country in the United States Army from 1968 until 1972. He loved woodworking, especially making chairs, tables, and cradles for children and dolls. Ronald and Barbara enjoyed long car rides together with no destination in mind.
