James Timothy Woods, 60, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on September 11, 1961 in Clinton, Oklahoma. He is the son of Connie Jo Woods. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 22, 2021 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, Elk City, Oklahoma.
He enjoyed fishing, wood carving, working in the yard and spending time with his family and his dog Charlie. James will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at Fairlawn Cemetery Pavilion Elk City, Oklahoma. Paul Richardson will be officiating.
Cherishing his memory is his three sons, Joshua Woods and his wife Tyla, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Shane Woods and his wife Jamie of Piggott Arkansas, Jared Woods and his wife Margarita of Kennett Missouri; one brother; Glenn Appleton Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two sisters, Cheryl Airth and her husband Kevin of Magnolia Texas, Twylia Appleton of Heart Texas, five grandchildren, Kiefer Woods, Kinley Woods, Kysen Woods, Bella Woods, Wyatt Woods, and a host of other family and friends.
Preceded in death by his mother, Connie Jo Woods and his grandparents Robert and Juanita Gordon.
