Earlene (Sanders) Williams, 90, of McAlester, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at a local nursing center.

The family will greet friends and visitors from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Bishop Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Chaplain Monte Busby. Burial will follow in North Town Cemetery. The funeral service will be broadcast live on Bishop Funeral Service Facebook page.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Corder, Taylor Corder, Tanner Corder, Jeff Moore, Robert Tighe, and Robert Tighe, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Williams, Ricky Wiliams, Jimmy Jackson, Nathan Oliver, and Joe Bill Manos.

Earlene was born to Earl and Hazel (Harmon) Sanders on March 2, 1931 in McAlester. She attended several schools in Pittsburg County.

Earlene married Ambrose D. Williams on September 26, 1953 in McAlester.

She worked for Komar. Fishing was Earlene's second career. She enjoyed fishing, quilting, gathering pecans, and going to garage sales. Earline also loved to build, repair, and refinish furniture and antiques. She enjoyed baking cookies and sharing them with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Hazel (Harmon) Sanders; husband: Ambrose D. Williams on July 22, 2001; brothers: Raymond Sanders, J.E. Sanders, Otis Sanders; sister: Leona Williams; son-in-law: Allen Corder; and grandson: Wes Corder.

Earlene is survived by her daughter: Kitty Corder of McAlester; grandsons: Tyler and wife, Allie, Taylor and fiancée, Nicole Smith, and Tanner Corder; great-grandsons: Easton, Brock, Hunter, Cole; sister: Ruth Sanders; nieces and nephews: Deborah Corder, Dianna Harris, Linda Royse, Jimmy Jackson, Kenneth Sanders, Rick Williams and wife, Valarie, Eddie Williams and wife, Deb; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members, and friends.
