Sandy was born October 9, 1941 to the late Harry and Edris (Campbell) Sorenson. She was one of seven children, now leaving behind only her sister Nancy, and joins; Edward, Donald, Lewis, Helen and James.
Although Sandy was more of a quiet woman, her talents of knitting, crocheting, and gardening spoke volumes. To be noted she was an all-around "good person". She loved drives on a regular basis with Joe; some of which were destination unknown, Christmas, time at the cabin in Au Train with her husband Joe, walking around the subdivision, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Mom was a beautiful person inside and out. She was kind and loving and was always there for you. She had a beautiful smile and loved to visit for many hours with her family. Her family was her entire world.
Sandy is survived and missed dearly by her daughters; Julie (Tony) Lawhead and Stacy (Eric) Welch, her beautiful grandchildren; A.J., Sydni, Patrick, Morgan, Abigale and her sister Nancy.
She joins her siblings, parents, husband Joseph and her in-laws in heaven.
A garden service was held on Tuesday May 25th to honor Sandy's life at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home Gardens.
