Elmer is survived by his wife, Carolyn Roberts Christian; his brother Butch Knight, his brother Billy Knight, his sister Debbie Meadows and his sister Amy McDaniel; his granddaughter Callie Christian, his grandson Wyatt Christian and his grandson Mason Griffeth.
Elmer was preceded in death by his son Elmer Basco Christian, III and his son Jason Allen Christian; his father Elmer Basco Christian, Sr. and his mother Grace Jones Christian; his sister Martha Christian.
A visitation for Elmer will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bernstein Funeral Home, 3195 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, Georgia 30606. A a celebration of life will occur Monday, September 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM, 3195 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, Georgia 30606.
