Richard loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was serious-minded, very personal, and private. Richard met the love of his life, Edith Berry, in 1993. He was a member of the Benton Gun Club and was Baptist in faith.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Colman Berry and Dora May (Bierman) Berry; son, Shane Berry, and brother, Dale Berry.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Edith (Davis) Berry; stepsons: Gary Tedder (Colleen), Robert Tedder, Steve Tedder (Cindy), and David Tedder; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special daughter in law, Imelda Tedder; a host of nieces and nephews; and countless friends that will miss him dearly.
Visitation is Tuesday, September 28 from 10:00-11:00 followed by a funeral service at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Bauxite Cemetery.
