NOVEMBER 14, 1930 – SEPTEMBER 22, 2021
Gloria Mae Guidroz Martin, a native of Patterson and a resident of Morgan City, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the age of 90. Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who adored her family, especially her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish Gloria's beautiful memory are her son, Paul Martin III; her daughter, Sheila Fontenot; her grandchildren, Whitney Martin, Jeffery Fontenot II, Paul Martin IV, and Cody Fontenot; and her great grandchild, Sydney Anne Fontenot.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Martin Jr.; her parents, David and Irene Guidroz; and her siblings, D.C. Guidroz Jr., Scott Guidroz, Mildred Guidroz, and Guy Guidroz.
A time of visitation and remembrance will be held for Gloria on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 9am to 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Gloria on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Church with burial following in the Morgan City Cemetery.
