Philip E Krause, age 83, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, under the care of Compassus Hospice Care. Philip was born in the Town of Maine, WI, on June 15, 1938, to the late Helmuth and Ida (Giles) Krause. He proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Philip grew up and attended school in the Town of Maine. He later moved to Milwaukee, WI, where he worked for the City of Milwaukee until his retirement. Philip moved ot Tomahawk 25 years ago. He enjoyed living in the North woods deer hunting and enjoyed coin collecting.
Survivors include his brother, Helmuth (Ruth) Krause, of Muscoda, WI; his sister, Dorothy (William) Wickman, of Tomahawk, and Adeline Krause, of Wausau, WI. Philip is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parent, Helmuth and Ida; his brother, George Krause; his sister Irene Brzezinski; and his brother-in-law, Joseph Brzezinski.
In accordance with wishes, no formal services will be held. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
