Funeral services for Frances Brown Thompson age 86 will be held Friday at 11:00 at the Bethune Church of God. Rev. Albert Liabastre and Rev. Wayne Dority will officiate. Burial will be in Brannon Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The family request that Covid 19 guidelines be observed and each one wear a mask.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Monroe, MS a daughter of the late Clebern Reich and Annice Wright Stark. She was a member of the Bethune Church of God and was the former owner of the McBee Country Kitchen. She was a loving wife, mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother and Great Great Grandmother.

Surviving are three daughters, Carolyn (Kenny) Cassidy, Chesterfield, Nancy (Buddy) Thompson, Camden and Evelyn (Clennie) McCaskill, Cassatt; one sister, Peggy (Billy Wayne) Carter, Alabama; 15 grandchildren, Jamie Brown, Jason Brown, Michael Thompson, Paul Thompson, Mitchell Thompson, Ananda Stephens, Lee Stephens, Jessica Stephens, Jason McCaskill, Shelley Dority, Shannon Amerson, Jamie Thompson, Chip McCaskill, Denise Robertson, Crystal Thompson; Several Great and Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Otto Brown, Jr. and her second husband, James E. Thompson, Sr.; two sons, Kenny Brown and Larry Thompson.
