Mary Sánchez, a resident of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021.
Mary was born in Cuba, New Mexico and was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Francisquita Maestas, daughter, Helen Martínez and sons, Louie Sánchez, Randy Sánchez and Tommy Sánchez.
Mary is survived by her three siblings, Tony Maestas, Eremita Chávez and Rose Martínez and her husband, Pres, five loving children, Albert Sánchez, Andy Sánchez and his wife, Lisa, Debbie Sedillo and her husband, Leo, Joseph Sánchez and Maxine and Renee Adkins and her husband, Keith, son-in-law, Victor Martínez and daughter-in-law, Melba Sánchez. Mary is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
It was our mother's wishes that all attending her services to please not wear black, as this is a celebration of her life, not of her death.
A rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery, 4300 Alameda, Albuquerque, NM. A reception will follow at the Nativity Parish Hall.
