Augustine Griego, age 86, and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on September 14, 2021.
Augustine is survived by his children, Wayne Griego and his wife, Evelyn and Lori Rodarte and her husband, Ray, grandchildren, Daniel Griego, Joshua Guevara and Jacob Guevara, great-grandchildren, Ryter, Anthony, Divine Griego and Averi Guevara and siblings, Stella Sandoval, Ruby Martínez, Virgie Narvaez, Bea Baca, Rosemary Montoya.
Augustine was preceded in death by his wife, Joann and grandson, Anthony Griego.
Augustine and his wife, Joann were avid fans and season ticket holders to our New Mexico Lobos.
A Rosary for Augustine will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with a Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m., all to be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located on 1860 Griegos Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM.
