BARBARA Hunter, the daughter of Lewis Smith and Mildred Smith. Sh3 attended Chester Public School. BARBARA met and married Edward (Poppy) Hunter. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. BARBARA was a member of St Katherine Drexel Catholic Church for many years where she was truly committed until her health began to fail and she could no longer attend. She worked at Fiber Metals for many years until she retired at the age of 70. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Poppy Hunter, one sister Carthel, one brother Lewis and Aunt Molly. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons Edward (Marianne) and Marlin (Eleanor) three grandchildren Marlin, Markeisha and Arlen, one granddaughter, Alain, three sisters: Geraldine Caples, Yvette and Cheryl, Aunt Leona Taylor, niece Darla, nephew Gregory. She also leaves to cherish her memory four special friends whom she loved dearly.: Tina, Greta, Francetta and Doris, She had one special daughter-in-law with whom she had a great relationship and who care d for her before she went to reside at St Francis Center in Darby, they were more like mother and daughter and they had a special bond that could not be broken.
