A Homegoing Celebration for Mother Thelma Hart Johnson, who passed away on September 9, 2021, will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM at College Hill COGIC (6414 N. 30th ST. Tampa, Fl), Pastored by Pastor Charles Davis. The Eulogy will be led by Arch Bishop David A. Jones. Interment will be burial and location and time will be announced at the conclusion of the home going for M0ther Hart .
A viewing will be held Friday, September 24th, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Harmon Funeral Home.
Mother Thelma Hart Johnson was born March 5th, 1932 in Monticello, FL. She was raised in Tampa, FL by her parents Osa and Roberta Scott. At an early age, Mother accepted Christ and went on in her spiritual journey. In Mother's Journey, she attended schools in Hillsborough County and attended FAMU. In the late 60's, she moved to Detroit, MI and became owner of her own Childcare Center. If Mother could, she would always help, so when her mother needed her, she moved back to Tampa, Fl in 1985 to care for her.
She was under the spiritual leadership of the late Bishop H.L. Simpson Independent COGIC and Arch Bishop David A. Jones- Mountain Top Int'l Ministries.
Mother Thelma Hart Johnson was preceded in death by her parents (Osa and Roberta Scott), brother (Charlie Lee Green), Son (Reginald Scott), and grandchildren (Jabaar Scott and Jondra Jackson).
She leaves to cherish her memories and legacy with: Daughters: Thelberta Hart Daniels and Tonya (Al) Jackson; Sons: Wilfred (Dawn) Hart Sr, Frank Donnie Scott, and Roderick (Guanine) Hart Sr. Grandchildren: Charles (Lisa) Scott, Derrick Hodges, Wilfred Hart Jr, Brandi Crosby, Jazmin Finley, Matthew Simmons Jr, John Jackson Jr, Temia (Garland) Wilkins, Katrina Gambrell, Toccorah (Maurice) Lewis, Tony (Brittany) Blackmon II, Wyneaki Hart, David (Alexis) Ford, Jesstiney Daniels, Antonio (Beatris) Ramsey, Roderick Hart Jr, Reginald Hart, Jessilyn Hart, Darian Scott, Donise (Kevin) Mathis, Jasmyn (Jacob) Brandt, Angela Hart, Terika (Donshae) Hannah, Jeffrey Morris, Taryn Morris, and Gianni Morris. 41 Great grandchildren and 11 Great-great grandchildren. Special Niece: Darlene Green; Nephews, Charles Green, Gregory Montgomery, and Charlie Lee Green. Godchildren: Pastor Albert and Shirley McAfee, Pastor Darren (Felecia) Jones, Lydia Stone, and Aquira Glagsow. Special Daughters: Alfreda Wilburn, Marie Renee Richo, Vestosa Danzey, Susan Mays, Tammi (Dr. Ralph) Bennett, Anglin (Randy) Mosley. God sisters: Evangelist Esther (Sonny) Smith and Josephine Sydnor.
