Mrs. Rachel Coberly an aged and respected resident, died at the home of Mrs. Myrtle Bealmear, on Monday April 22nd. She was born in Delaware county, Ohio, Dec. 15th, 1831, and moved with her parents to Madison county, Ohio in 1849. On March 21, 1850 she was married to Jesse Coberly, who died Nov. 11, 1897. She joined the M.E. church at Walnut Run, Ohio, in 1853, and took her church letter with her to Mo. in 1871. Came to Speermoore Aug. 5, 1917. She was past 86 years of age at the time of her death.
The body was taken to Chilicothe, Mo. for burial.
