Mrs. Jennifer May Evans was born September 9, 1953, in Huntstown, St. Mary, Jamaica to parents Clarence Clarke and Icelyn Rowe.

She was raised by her father in Jamaica until 1968. At the age of 14 she was reunited with her mother and joined her in London, England. In 1973 she graduated from the Kings Lynn Hospital School of Nursing in London as a Licensed General Nurse, later relocating to America in 1975.

Jennifer accepted the Lord as the head of her life and was baptized in Jesus' Name and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1977 while three months pregnant. She wanted to change her ways and knew she needed Christ in her life.

1984 Jennifer moved to Toledo, Ohio. While there, she attended Stautzenberger College in 1987, became a Medical Lab Technician in 1988 and received her naturalization that same year.

She worked at Ohio Diagnostic Inc. and Riverside Mercy Hospital from 1988-1999.

Jennifer came to live in Elkhart, IN, in 1999 and worked as a receptionist for Elkhart General Hospital before transitioning to South Bend Medical Foundation located inside Elkhart General. She retired after 20 years at Elkhart General as a Medical Laboratory Technician.

Our Beloved Matriarch volunteered as an Encourager with Ribbon of Hope Cancer Support Ministry until her passing. Giving back was a big part of her life, she volunteered as a Meals on Wheels delivery driver. In February 2009, Jennifer and her Husband Terry joined Open Gate Praise and Deliverance Ministry, where she served in the Food Pantry, was an Adult Sunday School Teacher and was also a part of her Neighborhood Bible Study program.

Jennifer was strong in faith. She was a witness and example to many. She was loving and always willing to give hope and encouragement. She was anointed to teach the word of God, studying every morning. She loved her Children and grandchildren in a very special way. Jennifer was preceded in death by her Parents Clarence Clarke and Icelyn Reeves, Special aunt Eva May Stokes, and Special friend/Mother-in-law Frankie Grant.

She leaves to Cherish her memory Husband: Terry Evans. Children: Bradford "Pierre" Vidales, Francine R Vidales-Russell, Tyrese Evans, Derrick Evans. Dad: Altaman Reeves. Brothers: Stephen Reeves, Richard Reeves. Sister-in-Laws: Patricia Evans-Coles, Frankie Davis. Grandchildren: Elijah, Tramayne, Koriyanni, David, Joseph, Audrinah, Malachi. Great Grandchildren: Phoenix, Safyrah, Zion and Special Friends: Beverly Lester and Mary Long and a host of cousins, family and friends.
