Oak Ridge - Robert "Bob" Currier, Sr., age 67, passed away September 15, 2021.
Bob was born September 12, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan. He moved from Detroit to Clinton, TN and later graduated from Clinton High School in 1973. Bob worked for the City of Oak Ridge for 37 years, until retiring in 2016. He enjoyed retirement by spending most of his time with his grandchildren, who brought him so much joy. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by so many. Bob was preceded in death by parents, Bernice & Charles Currier Sr. and son, William Joseph Currier. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pam Currier; two children, Bobby Currier and wife, Barbara and Sandy King and husband, Darrell; grandchildren, Adrianna, Joe, Amiyah, and Austin; sister, Wanda Marth and husband, Tom; two brothers, Chuck Currier and wife, Donna and Eddie Currier and wife, Sue; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday, September 20, 2021, at Weatherford Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Pastor Brian Scott officiating.
