JAMES W. "JIM" BALL, age 86 of Knoxville, TN formerly of Dandridge passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He was the son of the late William and Volena Bryant Ball and was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Lemons Ball; sisters, Bonnie Ball Marrow and Thelma Ball Nipper; brother-in-law, George Lemons. Jim is survived by his sons, Jim(Janet) Ball of Mesa, AZ and Randy (Amy Jo) Ball of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Jennifer Caldwell, Emily, Jared, Emery and Easton Ball; great-grandson, Ayden Caldwell; brothers, Ed and John Ball both of Knoxville. He was a retired butcher for Lay's Packing Co. and security guard for the University of Tennessee. Jim was an avid UT sports fan and enjoyed singing with his granddaughter. He loved family and grandchildren dearly and he will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Knoxville Dream Center and Lost Sheep Ministry, 1444 Breda Dr, Knoxville, TN or online at knoxvilledreamcenter.org/give. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, 11:00am at French Broad Brethren Cemetery.
