He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the coal mines with many years of service and was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday September 24, 2021 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. W.L. Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Dawes Mountain. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
