Celebration of Life will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the American Legion Post 294 in Lake Crystal.
Private family service and interment will be at For His Glory Holdings, LLC, formerly Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Butternut.
Sharon Lee, the daughter of Lester and Gladys (Mickelson) Gilbertson, was born on September 29, 1938 in Madelia. She graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1956. Sharon was a special education teacher in Lake Crystal. Mrs. Lewis had a soft spot in her heart for each of her students and they felt the same for her! She spent many summers walking beans with her crews. Sharon was a lifelong member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Butternut where she was baptized, confirmed, married, and taught Sunday School/Confirmation for over 35 years. She enjoyed gardening, her dogs, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Marvin) Hawker, Pam (Jim) Olson; children, Mike (Lona), Beth, Tim (Sarah), Scott, and Jamie; grandchildren, Kaci (Keith), Jayson, Benjamin (Maria), Danielle (Josh), Samantha, Andrea, Meghan (Cory), Kyle (Destiny), and Kaylea; 10 great grandchildren with one on the way; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.
