Helen Mae Reed, 66, of Washington, died on September 20, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

She was born on March 12, 1955, in Cecil, a daughter of Helen McMillen Johnson, and the late Louis Johnson.

Mrs. Reed worked at Pine Lawn Nursing Home in Houston for thirty years as a healthcare aid, and also did home healthcare.

Helen enjoyed shopping and housekeeping, but her greatest joy was spending time with family and watching her grandchildren's sports.

On December 19, 1987, she married Clarence Reed, who survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Richard Reed, Sr., of Atlanta, GA, Curtis Reed, of Washington, Richard Reed, Jr., of Washington, and Clarence Reed, Jr., of Atlanta, GA; three daughters, Michelle Greene, of Weirton, WV, Louanne (Hugh) Wallace, of Canonsburg, and Skylar Reed, of Washington; a brother, James (Tammy) Johnson, of Canonsburg; two sisters, Lois (David) Roney, of Canonsburg and Faye (Terry) Reese, of Houston; nine grandchildren, Shaelynn, Tatem, Bianca, Destny, Briana, Curtis, Jr., Nia, Dallas, and Dakota; and four great grandchildren, Caiden, Chance, Cameron, and Journi.

Deceased are a daughter, Stacy Reed; and three brothers, William "Toby" McMillan, Louis Johnson, Jr., and William Wayne McEntire.

Friends will be received on Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, September 27, 2021, with Rev. Victoria Wallace officiating.

Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
