Mark worked at the Knolls Atomic Power Lab in West Milton for over 30 years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was his family and he treasured the time he spent with his beloved grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father James Cottrell.
Mark is survived by his daughters Samantha Cottrell (Sam) and Michelle Cottrell (Tim); grandchildren Keiara "Storm", Ilyana, Elexis, Crystal and Jezilyn; mother Jane Cottrell; siblings Dorothea Coleman (William), James Cottrell, Jr. (Harriet) and David Cottrell (Josh).
Funeral services with military honors will be held at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville.
