Reeves, Donna Rose of Rockwall, TX, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at the age of 53. Born in Dallas, TX, on April 17, 1958, Donna graduated from Richardson High School in 1976, and went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin, graduating and obtaining a nursing degree in 1982. Donna's nursing career included many rewarding years of service at Parkland, Baylor and most recently Green Oaks Hospital. A lifelong music aficionado, Donna was involved in community radio and is remembered for her Tuesday night show on KNON FM in the 1990s. Donna is survived by her husband of 25 years: Randy Reeves; two daughters: Annabel, age 18, and Janie, age 16; her parents: Waymon and Ann Rose of Farmersville, TX; brothers: Jim Rose and wife Dayle of Allen, TX, and David Rose and wife Lynn of Dallas, TX; and nephew: Preston Rose. A memorial service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, October 22, 2011, at First Christian Church, 3375 Ridge Road, Rockwall, TX, with Rev. Mark Irons and James Guvvala officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to North Texas Food Bank, Attn: Accounting, 4500 S. Cockrell Hill Road, Dallas, TX 75236-2028, or to a charity of donor's choice.
