Raymond Eugene Kerr was born on October 16, 1932 in Ada, OK. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert & Jocie Kerr, 4 brothers, 1 sister and his first wife Joy Kerr. He was blessed to find love again with his wife of 52 years, Frances, who recently passed. He is survived by his daughter Patricia Richards, son Kenneth Kerr, daughter Kathy Alexander and youngest daughter Lana and her husband Todd Stowe; along with his brother Robert Kerr. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren Michael & Lacey Holloway, Justin Barnhill, Jarrod Barnhill, Robby Bowman, Cindy Bowman & Matthew Barnhill; and his great grandchildren Gavin, Katelyn & Kylie Holloway, Mariah Baca, Tanner & Elliegh Barnhill, Kirstyn Barnhill & Adelle Kate. Raymond was a veteran of the Korean War and served his country for a total of 8 years. He followed his service with a career in law enforcement where he trained several of today's local law enforcement officers. Once he retired from law enforcement, he began a career as an award winning car salesman. After many years, he and Frances both retired, sharing in their love of Sooner Football, Thunder Basketball and black and white old western movies, but most of all sharing their time and love with their growing family. His nature was loving and giving, his heart was made of pure gold and to us who truly loved him, his memory will never grow old. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, Oklahoma.
