A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 24, 2021 at Indianola Cemetery in Indianola Mississippi with the Reverend Bobby L. Palmertree officiating.
Born May 3, 1932, in Sunflower County, Shaw Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Silas Quinton Waid and Ida Belle Garrett Waid. Mrs. Jones retired from Ludlow Fabrics as a fabric weaver and was a member of Church of Christ. Mrs. Jones will always be remembered as a sweet and loving person, who will be truly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Hugh Jones; nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Marlene Jones of Texas; three grandchildren; sisters, Marie Hicks, Margaret Sykes, Ethelene Lamb and Lynda Taylor; brother, Edward Earl Waid.
