Laverne was a talented artist. She enjoyed going to garage sales. Laverne loved spending time with her family.
Laverne is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Bud) Hopper; son, Dennis Moore; sisters, Dorothy (Walter) Wilkinson and Lucy Lohmann; grandchildren, Kristal Heffley, Maria Pascal, Christopher K. Moore, and Alexandra E. Moore; great grandchildren, Amber Palmer, Dillon Heffley, Paige Pascal, Ethan Pascal and Lucas Alves Moore; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Laverne was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jack Leon Moore; and son, Steven Kelly Moore.
Private graveside services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery with Chaplain Tom Hubachek officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue, Evansville. Published in Courier Press on Sept. 22, 2021.
