American actor. He may be best know as Stanford Blatch from " Sex and the City". Born William Garson Paszamant he is the son of Muriel Schwartz and Donald M. Paszamant. For his formal education he attended Highland Park High School in New Jersey. He attended Wesleyan University and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theater and Yale Drama School where he received a Master of Fine Arts degree. His career in television began in 1986 in "Family Ties" as Walter. Some other shows you may remember him from are "Thirtysomething" 1990 as Ray, "Ruby" 1992 as Lee Harvey Oswald and 'Magnum P.I." in 2019 as Gerard Hirsch his final television appearance. Altogether from 1986 until 2019 he appeared in more than 300 television episodes. He had roles in 75 films that included "Kingpin" 1996, "There's Something About Mary" 1998, "Sex and the City" 2008 and his final film "Magic Camp" in 2020. He passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 57.
