Melinda Gaye Wilson, 74, died at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb on Monday, September 20, 2021. Memorial services will be announced at a future date. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born August 20, 1947 in Florida, the daughter of the late James and Lois Bass Wilson. She was a retired secretary for the Mississippi State Employment Service. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, David N. Wilson and her grandmother, Annie Mae Dickerson.
MS Wilson is survived by her niece, Kristin Johnson of Magnolia. Her nephew, James D. Wilson of Osyka. Great nieces and nephews: Taylor Wilson; Keaton McKinley and fiancee', Kasey Callender; Logan McKinley; and Hallie Johnson. One aunt, Jimmie Faye Graves. Numerous cousins.
