Larry D. Fox, age 83 of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville and retired from the United States Air Force. Larry was a retired Metropolitan Agent, a member of the Masons, Shriners, Order of the Eastern Star, Sons of the Revolution and the Smoky Mountain Historical Society.
Larry is preceded in death by his wife Magdalene Hartsell Fox and his parents Carl and Reva Fox.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Jovina Fox, daughter and son-in-law Terri and Wayne McKenzie, grandchildren Rebecca McKenzie, Phillip and Holly McKenzie, Paul and Valerie Fox; as well as great-grandchildren Adaline Williamson, Gibson McKenzie and Asher Fox. In addition, he is survived by extended family Gwatha Kear, Tracy and Amy Kear, Zaragul, Sophia and Lola Norova.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Sevierville, 317 Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862.
The family will receive friends 1-3 PM Friday, Sept. 25 with funeral service to follow at 3 PM at Atchley's Smoky Mountain Chapel, Pigeon Forge. Rev. Dan Spencer will officiate. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #104. Entombment will follow the service in the chapel mausoleum of Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
